I am an artist, educator, and storyteller who cares about helping others slow down and form meaningful relationships with the natural world around them. Forestville is both a real and imagined place inspired by unceded Southern Pomo land of present-day Sonoma County.

I grew up near the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and the Huron National Forest of Michigan, spending my early years connecting to nature as a scout and at camp. In my previous life, I worked as a creative director making educational games for children and designing mental health and wellness programs for adults. I am now back home in the forest, focusing my time on building community, co-creation, and stewardship.

I hold a BFA in Communication Arts & Design from VCU School of the Arts, where I studied and later taught experimental animation and interactive storytelling. I am a UC California Naturalist certified by University of California and Stewards of the Coast & Redwoods, and I hold certificates in Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and Trauma Informed Care from the Hanna Institute. I’m currently studying Mindfulness Teacher Training at UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center & Awareness Training Institute.
